Antique American Brilliance Period ABP leaded crystal compote, candy dish deeply cut crystal pattern, very heavy thick crystal glass. Measures 5" in diameter, 4" tall. Has a few flea bite sized chips around top edge. One area has a few points missing (see photos). I would say this is in fair to good condition...you have to be looking for the chips to see them. The deeply cut crystal makes it hard to feel for chips. Just know this is an old piece, probably 100 years old, so still in remarkable condition considering the age...priced accordingly. The American Brilliance Period or American Brilliance Pattern (ABP) signifies a period in American glass making where artisans used hand tools & to deeply cut patterns in to leaded crystal. Most were from Europe & the American manufacturers rivaled the makers in Europe during the late 1800s-early 1900s.
