Senior Interest Patches were introduced in 1955 & continued through 1979. This listing is for a rare Mariner Senior Scout Patch. These 2 inch-sized patch was first available in 1960, continuing through 1974. This Mariner patch was available from 1963 to 1974 (there was a similar version from 1960 to 1963, but the design changed significantly & it had "GS" in the center). I can personally date this patch to 1963 as it is my patch dating to my being a Mariner Scout. Condition: Excellent even though it was used & removed from my troop jacket.
