These are handmade treenware pie server spatulas carved from Walnut & Maple. We are changing our processing time temporarily because we have to take a trip. We will be setting it at two to three weeks. You can purchase things but they will not ship until we get back. We would rather do this than put our shop on vacation. These are not a set, each is available separately. See the drop down options menu to choose the species. 11 1/4 inches long & 2 3/4 inches wide. The edges of the blade taper to a thin edge so you can cut with it. Handmade wooden utensils make the best gift. These spatulas are finished & ready to ship & you will receive the one shown. Finished with beeswax & mineral oil. This utensil is "pre-washed" so to speak. The grain has been raised with water during the finishing process to remove any loose fiber ends so the spoon will remain smooth after you use it. You can help this a lot by applying beeswax & mineral oil using a pad of 0000 steel wool every couple of weeks. The steel wool will remove any new loose fibers & keep the spoon as smoother as it is out of the box. Care is easy, just wash in hot soapy water, towel dry, & apply some mineral oil or walnut oil every couple of weeks or you can buy some of our spoon oil finish which is Beeswax & mineral oil. A 4 oz. jar lasts for a long time & it will help to keep your spoon looking & feeling good for many years. You can make your own by melting 1 part beeswax into 3 parts mineral oil in a double boiler.
