Mystical in its simplicity. Most likely, it was made for a contemporary art museum in France in the 1950s - 1970s. It has an opening in the upper part & a small "cup" right underneath it, so you can put a dried flower, a long feather or, I don't know, your paint brushes into it. But it hardly needs anything. The material is some kind of textured plastic or resin. 20 cm x 17.5 cm x 5.5 cm. Weight 580 grams. Signed (acid stamped?) "Full Moon Carre D'Art Paris". Nice vintage condition.
