Music Box - Metal Art - Copper Convertible Car - Country Road Take Me Home - Made in Hong Kong - 1978 George Good Corporation Dimensions - 9" long X 6" tall X 5" wide On a recent treasure hunt we ran into this unusual music box. It is reminiscent of an old Convertible from the 30s & 40s & appropriately plays the music "Country Road Take Me Home". It was much too cute to pass up! How the music box operates is by cranking over the engine with the crank in the front of the car (see pictures). The car itself is made up of what appears to be copper. It has the patina of copper, & is amazingly detailed with everything from the steering wheel & gear shift. A true conversation piece with appropriate music! It was made in Hong Kong in 1978 for the George Good Corporation. The overall condition is very good to excellent with no damage that we can see. There is a lovely patina of age.
