Description
This is a handsome linen grain bag from the mill of L. Barrett, Watertown, CT., 1827. I actually found a photo of the family mill, shown in the last photo, at a later date when it was run by another family member. It is heavy linen all sewn by hand & is clean & sturdy but there are some scattered stains. There is one small hole on the back. It measures 26" wide & 41" long.
