Warm tones of apricot radiating out from the base of the petals with golden-yellow tips & a central cone of amber, gold & green. Compact plant growing just 12" tall. Arizona Apricot is long-lived & trouble free, producing sunny apricot blooms all summer. Grows best in well-draining soil in full sun. Very drought & heat tolerant when established. Perennial in USDA Hardiness Zones 3-10. Seed sowing instructions: Sow seed indoors 6-8 weeks before last frost date on the surface of a moistened, good seed-starting mix. Cover seed lightly with fine grit or seed-starting mix, provide light & keep moist, in warm temperatures, 70-75 degrees F. They can then be transplanted out when large enough to handle & temperatures stay above freezing. Alternatively, seed can be sown outdoors after all danger of frost. All seed counts are approximate, but we strive to overfill pkts. Seed sold by volume - Total volume 1/32 tsp. We only ship to the 50 states in the U.S.A.
