Board Mounted: An 8x12" archival print permanently mounted on a piece of 3/8" thick MDF wood & sealed with a UV-protected coating & painted black on the edges. Pre-drilled area for hanging on the back. No need to frame a print because the board mounted print is ready to hang! Manufactured in the PNW. The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is an amazing route from the US/Mexico border all the way to the Canadian border. It passes through 7 national parks, 25 national forests & numerous mountain ranges... 2,600 miles on foot & an average hike time of 6 months. Backpacking, day hiking, long hauls or short stretches... I learned about the trail in college, when I went to a friend's wedding & met one of the intrepid bridesmaids, who had left her PCT hike for a week in order to attend the wedding. She told me about her trail nickname, the friends she had gained on the trail, & about the tough conditions. Since then, I've met many more who have or are hiking the PCT (including Cheryl Strayed, author of her memoir Wild, at a book event) & look forward to my turn on this awe-inspiring trail.
