Description
This beautiful Manning Bowman Co. brass & copper chaffing dish with wood handles is in great shape for being well over 100 years old, & it is complete. The set has a trademark stamp on the burner & bottom of the copper pan insert, & it has a pat'd date stamp on the bottom of stand & on the burner. The issues are minor & include: dings around the outer lip of the lid, one of the soldier welds came off one of the legs on the stand (this can easily be re-welded), & it has patina spots in places (chiefly on the tray - see photo) & it has minor usage wear. Measures: 11.5" tall to top of lid & is 7.5" tall without lid x 12.5" across from handle to handle. The copper insert pan is 9.5" diameter with an inner diameter of 8" x 2" tall, & it is 17" long from handle to outer edge of pan.
