Description

This is a wood block of a 16th Century German illumination of a cat with what appears to be a rocket on its back, recreated by Kat Robinson from an illustration in the "Buch von den probierten Künsten" of Franz Helmcurrently held at the Universitätsbibliothek Heidelberg. Artist Grav Weldon has extracted the image & created a laser-cut stamp of this motif for use in block printing. The block can be custom made to your dimensions, but can be no smaller than four inches & no larger than 6 inches in height. The original can be viewed here at the Universitätsbibliothek Heidelberg online. https://digi.ub.uni-heidelberg.de/diglit/cpg128/0187/image For orders outside the US & Canada, please contact vendor.
