Description Ichiro Mori makes pottery in Bizen where traditional wood-firing is still alive & famous for. He was a sculpture before making a pottery which makes his pottery more artistic & detail oriented. He fires wood-fired kiln twice a year with his father who also a potter. Bizen-wares are made with Yakishime technique which no glaze is used, just clay & wood firing. Size : 6.25 in x 10.5 in Weight : 6 lb Material : ceramic Sizes & weights are approximate. They are handmade one of a kind piece, & each item has slightly different shape, size, & glaze. Pictures shown are taken with one sample piece.
