Description
Three piece skirt, crop top, & belt by Romeo Gigli in 1993 that is three tiers of ruffles which fits on the hips. The matching crop top has lace long sleeves with cuffs that ties ai the neckline. The neckline adjusts from a scoop neckline to off shoulder depending upon how tightly the drawstrings are tied. The belt has five lucite carved ovals with three leather strings joining them. Typical Romeo Gigli elegance coupled with sensuality. The fabric is amazing of 94% cotton with 6% metal to add a bit of sparkle. The fabric is actually translucent, but due to the volume, this isn't obvious. I like the skirt with a knot tied in the fabric to show more leg & creating an irregular hemline. The crop top is so creative. The fabric strings loosen or tighten to reveal as much skin as you desire. The top buttons just below the bust line creating a form fitting shape. The sleeves are of lace with button closure flared cuffs. The coordinating belt has five lucite 3" long ovals that are carved with flowers & joined by three leather laces. This three piece set, vintage1993, is unworn from my private Romeo Gigli collection. Perfect condition.
