This female Rippons birdwing butterfly is ex-pupae specimen from sangir island. This specimen was purchased through a distributor who deals with butterfly farms & breeder through out the world. The specimen was imported with Cites permit. You will receive the exact specimen in the picture. They are prepared by insect enthusiasts with over 70 years combined experience in preserving insects. All parts of the frame were installed by us, with exception of the assembly of the molding, which was done by Bridget Hanley's Studios. Frame comes ready to hang with saw-tooth hanger.
