Traditional Oxidized Statue Of The Lotus Born Guru Rinpoche The Oxidized Statue Of The Lotus Born Guru Rinpoche has been diligently hand-carved in the classic Himalayan manner, with a body made of pure oxidized copper. The deity is depicted sitting on a moon disc lotus while wearing monastic robes & crowns to denote his stature. His tantric staff (khatvanga), topped with a trident, is resting on his shoulder, holding a vajra in his right hand & a vase in his left. People have passed down the knowledge necessary to make these deities for years. We can tell you that the statue was made from only the best materials. We used acrylic paints to highlight the facial attributes of the deity. It is also used on the Trident. The lotus hat, necklace, edge of the robe, & earrings are adorned with precious gemstones. The figurine weighs about 11.14 kg, & it took us months & months of hard work & total devotion to complete it.
