This solid wood four-drawer & flip-top chest features remarkable relief carved illustrations of wise men in palace & garden scenes. Inset chinoiserie panels decorate the top, front, & sides & the handles are cleverly relief carved into each drawer. Camphor wood is commonly used to detract moths. All drawers slide easily.
