Shape size is measured from the longest side of the shape; in some shapes it is the length & some it is the width. Each wood cutout is made from 1/8" (3mm) or 1/4" (6mm) thick birch plywood. Laser cut wood will have slightly discolored edges, but can easily be sanded, painted or stained over. Each piece of wood is unique & will have a different grain pattern & color.
