Handmade in New Mexico, the turquoise Heishi bead & pendant necklace is an early Desert Rose Trading Co. piece designed by Jay King who later went on to grow his jewelry business on television. The turquoise necklace is a sleek & beautiful piece of the Southwest & features graduated disc turquoise stones accented with a sterling silver & turquoise pendant. The piece is finished with a signed sterling hook clasp. Necklace length 16 1/2" including clasp Pendant 1 7/8" long Turquoise Beads. 2.8 mm to 7 mm Circa 1990s.
