A rare find for Broadway lovers, this is an original Playbill from the 1943 Ziegfeld Follies starring Milton Berle at the Winter Garden Theatre from he week of August 15, 1943. It's filled with highlights & details of the show, of course, as well as dozens of black & white ads from the period. See our photos for examples. We found this snippet of the New York Times review dated April 2, 1943... "The circus & the "Ziegfeld Follies" being two changeless traditions of the American theatre, the Messrs. Shubert & associates last evening upheld their end by bringing in the latest edition of the familiar revue. It opened at what Mr. Berle called the "Olsen & Johnson National Bank" which is the Winter Garden & it gave every indication of staying there as agreeably as the other recent "Follies" have, & other Winter Garden shows."
