It is petite & perfect for tea sandwiches small cookies or candies. We think it would be glorious used in a powder room with decorative soaps! The server was made in Japan before 1920 it is in the Aesthetic Movement or Orientalist style which was popular during the Arts & Crafts Movement. There is wear to the gilding on the handle.
