Description

I think this is a directional or banking gauge, probably from the 1960s, & it is gimballed. I don't know if the gauge is operational, but the inside gauge moves in the liquid when the whole thing is moved. This gauge came from a salvage lot from a long retired naval aviator, so I think there's a strong chance that this gauge was once installed, or intended to be installed, on a Navy aircraft. There's a metal identifying plate on the back indicating this was made by the Eclipse Pioneer Division of the Bendix Aviation Corporation of Teeterboro, New Jersey, as well as the gauge serial number & other ( possibly military ) procurement information. This gauge face measures about 4 1/4" diameter & the mounting bracket on one end is about 5 1/8" long & the gauge is about 5" thick. It weighs over 5 1/2 pounds. in fair condition. FREE shipping within the United States. I'll gladly combine shipping with other items whenever possible.
