This is a 1963 Topps baseball card featuring Alan Shepard, the first astronaut in space. The card is #11 of a series of astronaut cards. The card features Alan Shephard wearing a space suit after emerging from a high velocity test. The reverse of the card featrues a 3-D type illustration of a rocket blasting into space.
