3D-printed idol of Lord Kartikeya, also known as Skanda, Murugan, Mahasena & Kumara - son of Lord Shiva & Parvati. Dimensions of the statue: Width: 4.5 inches, Height: 7 inches, Depth: 3.5 inches. Muruga symbolizes a union of polarities. He is handsome warrior & described as a celibate yogi & as a philosopher-warrior. Worshiping Lord Murugan is believed to relieve a person from nervousness, thereby making him brave & courageous. Murugan statue prevents bad effects such as ill luck, evil-eyes, nightmares. The idol should be kept in the East & the West of the puja room. It should not be faced North & South directions. Each statue is made by 3D printing process of UV-cured non-brittle expensive resin. Then it painted in black primer with a silver/gold rubbing compound imitating the look of an antique silver/gold statue & coated with protective lacquer. The whole process of 3D-printing & painting usually takes 16 hours. As an option I can ship the statuette without painting it (please indicate it with your purchase as a black option). 3D printed models may have high level of intricate details & geometry that's impossible to achieve in mass production processes.
