The piece has a grass & rock base. The bottom is copper-colored metal. You twist the bird figurine to start the music. The bluebird spins as the music plays. It plays perfectly although I don't recognize the tune. May play a little bit slow, I'm not certain. Original bottom sticker & tag. Figurine is in very good vintage condition. Some staining & and marks on the base. Some tag residue & slight rusting on the bottom. Please view photos. A beautiful music box for the bird lover in your life. Measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/4". All of my items ship from a smoke free home although I have no way of knowing what they may have been exposed to during their long lives.
