Here is a superb original antique leather doctors bag, probably from somewhere between the 1920s to 1940s. This wonderful medium sized doctors bag is made from thick textured leather in a rich medium chestnut brown colour with a beautiful patina, the leather runs around all sides of the bag & is supple & shiny. Four brass stud feet, brass pull loop at the front top centre, leather top grab handle attached to a strong metal frame, secure brass push slide fastener with a traditional safety slide clamp at either side also made from brass. The inside is lined with a beige canvas type material, opens up to a large compartment with smaller pouch pocket, in good used condition for its age but has been used so does have lots of marks & wear throughout which I have tried to show in the photos, water mark to the base, the marks to the leather would improve with a stain & polish, please have a good look at all the photos as they are a true representation of the condition. Brilliant antique find as specially in such original condition.
