He was born in Pella in 356 BC & succeeded his father Philip II to the throne at the age of 20. He spent most of his ruling years on an unprecedented military campaign through Western Asia & Northeastern Africa, & by the age of thirty, he had created one of the largest empires of the ancient world, stretching from Greece to northwestern India. He was undefeated in battle & is widely considered one of history's most successful military commanders. Meander design is a decorative border constructed from a continuous line, shaped into a repeated motif. Such a design is also called the Greek fret or Greek key design, although these are modern designations. One the one hand, the name "meander" recalls the twisting & turning path of the Meander River in Asia Minor, & on the other hand, as Karl Kerenyi pointed out, "the meander is the figure of a labyrinth in linear form". The meaning is that there is no beginning & end in some cases, so meander become the symbol of long life & eternity. Professional packaging.
