This is an English top handle handbag, in a great red color from one of the top end brands of the period, Fassbender. Fassbender Made in England label Dating from the first years after the war. The bag is characteristic of the smart & stylish, but restrained, designs of the immediate post-war period. The bag has three compartments. The two side compartments are lined with black silk fabric. The middle larger compartment is lined with black genuine leather. It also has 3 pockets, one of which is zipped. A little mobility at the structure under the handle This is a gorgeous handbag which is in excellent condition, no noticeable scratches, stains. Inside is also very well preserved, clean & in excellent condition.
