WHAT ARE SECONDS? These are pieces considered "second quality" for one reason or another & thus offered for sale at a discount. Please read the description fully to understand why these particular items are discounted. These ritual trays were handbuilt & can be used to hold palo santo, incense, sage or even as an ashtray or trinket dish. APPROXIMATE DIMENSIONS: 5.5" x 4.5" MATERIALS: Clay is a light tan stoneware with speckles. It's glazed with several different colored glazes. -All glazes & clay used are food safe. -Mug is dishwasher & microwave safe (although hand washing is always recommended for handmade pottery.) These ritual trays are considered seconds because the glazes did not turn out as I had hoped. These are fully function pieces still. Option D has some bubbling in the white matte glaze. Otherwise I am discounting these items simply because they didn't turn out as I wanted them to. (let my perfectionism be your good deal!) All items are handmade so naturally will have variations.
