Hello! I am Dr. G, the owner of Dr. G ArtLab. My art brings Latin American cultures & traditions to life, inspired by my personal experiences & memories. You'll see symbols like calla lilies, tehuanas, carnations, huipils, aguacateros & textiles intertwined with mandalas, agricultural symbols & folk iconography. Inspired by a concept, sketch or memory, I use digital media, collage techniques, & various digital tools to design & create each artwork. These tools allow me to blend memories & experiences from Latin America with vibrant colors, mixed media, & modern design technologies. Aguacatero dogs, stray dogs in El Salvador, were my original muse.
