The teardrops are 1cm at the widest point & are available in gold or silver. Each necklace is outfitted with an 18-inch chain that typically rests the pendant an inch below the collar bone. 14k gold-filled chain & attachments are available for an additional fee. Steel chains are used for the silver option rather than sterling silver as sterling silver has a tendency to turn some people's skin green. The steel that is used is tarnish resistant & hypoallergenic. Gold filled chains are used in the listing photos.
