This is a fabulous vintage Mexican modernist, mid-century sterling silver panel link bracelet featuring 12 purple amethyst cabochons in bezel setting & domes silver in floral design. It is signed by acclaimed American-born Frederick (Fred) Walter Davis (1880-1961) who designed & produced his artwork in Mexico City & committed his life to the cultural revival of Mexico. Fred Davis' mark is stamped on the clasp, along with SILVER & MExICO. The bracelet has a functional box clasp. The amethyst stones were confirmed with the Presidium II Gem Tester. The bracelet tests positive for sterling silver with the 18K acid (a video of testing is available upon request, prior to purchasing). Weight: 66.74 grams Length: 7.5"" (19.05 cm) Width: 1.15" (2.93 cm) Good estate, preowned condition with signs of wear, commensurate with it being +/- 80 years-old (see photos, video).
