Here we have a rare, original, vintage 1935, gay geography, colored, illustrated map of North Carolina by Ruth Taylor. It would have come out of a state map book entitled "Gay Geography". The map itself measures approximately 8.5 inches wide by 11 or 11.5 inches in length. The map is shrink-wrapped in plastic which I don't want to remove so the measurements are approximate. The 2 inch mat is cream colored & measures 13 by 16 inches. The cartoonish illustrations are adorable & sure to be a crowd pleaser. Great condition & ready to be framed. I apologize for the crooked map & the unclear photos because of the shrimp-wrap. Please be sure before purchasing as this item is NOT returnable.
