A hand wrought silver salver with an engraved coat-of-arms, three claw & ball feet, & a pierced decorative rim. It was made in Rotterdam, Holland in the mid to late 18th century. The maker's mark is unidentified. Its silver content is at least .875 purity. The tray measures 1 H x 13 1/2 W inches & weighs 1095 grams. CONDITION: The salver border has been professionally repaired in a few places. The depth of the coat-of-arms engraving has declined through use over the centuries.
