What a rare find in this condition! This pretty midcentury purse made in Hong Kong is fabric covered with white plastic beads inside & out. Visible on the outside, there are pastel flowers embroidered on the fabric, then covered with clear beads for a textured design. The handle is beaded. The bag is clean & in very nice vintage condition. There is no pocket inside as I assume it would have been difficult to attach to the beaded surface; interior is clean. There is an original tag inside that says Made in Hong Kong (by the way, the photo of the tag shows some raveled red fibers & is not a stain). The gold-tone frame & clasp are nice, just a few scuffs from opening & closing. The bag, laid flat, measures about 11" across at the bottom, 9" across at the metal frame. Also laid flat, the bag measures about 8" from bottom of bag to top of frame; the beaded handle measures 7" from frame to center when held on a finger.
