Growing Dahlias from seed is a cheap & easy way to get these wonderful blooms into your garden. Sow seeds indoors 4-5 weeks before the last average frost in your area. Plant seeds about a quarter inch deep & keep the soil moist until germination. Pot seedlings up once they get their true leaves. Be careful not to cause too much root disturbance to seedlings.
