This American-made clock evokes the romance & charm of the Art Deco period. Made in America by The Lux Clock Manufacturing Company of Waterbury, Connecticut, probably in the 1920s, this is their "86C" model, called "Crawford". The clock is in working condition, as it ticks & keeps time after being wound. I have not been able to test the on/off timer timing mechanisms, which I think were designed to operate a stove. The clock represents pretty fancy automation of an appliance from around 100 years ago - very cool. The metal case shows considerable wear & flaking black paint, & this probably once has a glass cover, now missing. The clock body measures 4 5/8" long & 6" high & it's 3 1/8" deep. The clock weighs about 2 1/2 pounds. in fair condition, & working. FREE shipping within the United States. I'll gladly combine shipping with other items whenever possible.
