1977 Polaroid Pronto Instant Film Camera. This instant camera is very clean, clean lens, great color & mechanically works. I tested the Pronto with a test pack of exposed film. The integral flash went off & the camera ejected the print (pre-exposed so no photo taken). You do not have to worry about battery corrosion because the battery to power these cameras are in the Polaroid 600 film pack which you can still buy from the "Impossible Project" (https://www.the-impossible-project.com). Comes with matching Pronto bag & original manual. The Pronto!'s viewfinder is surprisingly bright & is used in conjunction with a 116mm f/9.4 lens that has a minimum focus distance of three feet & boasts a single coating as well as color correction. The shutter is activated by the bright red button & exposure can be controlled by rotating the knob directly underneath the viewfinder. Flashbars, disposable bars that contain five single-use flash bulbs on each side, can be used if additional lightning is required & are attached via a slot just behind the lens. The Polaroid Pronto! Sears Special was sold exclusively at Sears department stores. This Polaroid's first non-folding Land Camera uses Sx-70 instant film. Stand not included.
