The buck suede is darker than the doll. in the last photo, the dolls were made using the Deer Suede. Compared to Craft Velour, the Buck Suede is darker, softer, & not shiny like craft velour. As some people put it, "Buck Suede is a step above Craft Velour." Perfect for making 20cm korean kpop cotton dolls! 60" Wide - 100% Polyester Crosswise Stretch - 5% ~ Lengthwise Stretch - 5% Deer Suede (aka Buck Suede)is the ideal fabric for many doll making patterns & projects. It is a very durable fabric, easy to handle, easy to stuff & is machine washable. You may also choose between the smooth side or the softer suede side for your doll skin. Deer Suede is recommended by many doll designers as a good doll skin fabric for their patterns. Note: If your pattern calls for Guilford Mills Doe Suede (no longer available), Deer Suede is a suitable replacement. Also Buck Suede is another name for Deer Suede Sold in 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 3/8, 3/4, & one yard increments.
