The Diskobolos is a sculpture of Miron completed in Greece at the beginning of the Classical Period. The statue depicts a young Ancient Greek athlete throwing a discus. The original of the bronze statue made by the sculptor Miron in 450 BC has been lost. However, numerous copies of the statue have been found in Rome. The statue, which has survived thanks to the copies found in Rome, BC. It has been depicting dynamism, movement & anatomical perfection since 450 years ago. Creation process: Our products are 100& handmade. The material used in our creations is 90% marble & 10% resin (works as a glue). The material is poured into our handmade mold & then each detail is finished by hand. It is a long process that needs a lot of precision & love for this result!
