This custom painted double laundry rack is made to a size of 44"W x 28"H x 3.5"D. It is shown with Benjamin Moore - "Intrigue" semi gloss paint. It is a gray color with green undertones. This drying rack has a 1/4" finish plywood backing. We also offer a white bead board backing for the painted option or a wooden bead board backing for the stained option. It would be a great addition to any laundry room. Each drying rack has 5 1/2" stainless steel rods, & opens to approximately 14" when open. We offer a brass or chrome chain, so the rack can be easily adjusted to your needs. This laundry rack comes with 5 hooks. We offer three types of hooks: chrome, oil rubbed bronze or satin nickel. When ordering, please specify which type of chain & hooks you would like. All of our drying racks have a unique design that use chains to hold the inner rack while in use & a magnet that holds it in place when not in use. I do not use hinges with any of my drying racks. All drying racks are made with northeastern white pine. All needed hardware is provided with your drying rack. Enclosed in your zip lock bag, you will find 4 large screws & 4 washers. These are to be used to attach your drying rack to the wall. Be sure to use a larger phillips drill bit with your 3" screws, so the screws will not strip. When installing the drying rack, you will need to predrill holes that are 16" on center to align with your studs in your wall. You will also find 4 small screws. 2 of these small screws go 5.5" on each side of the laundry rack with the rods. The hole is already started for you. The screw goes through the chain link first before you mount the screw. The other end of the chain goes on the other small screw, & into the hole that has already been started, which is located (5" from the top, on the left & right vertical"sides" of the laundry rack box. The magnet is taken off for the shipping process so the inner rack can fit inside the drying rack box. The holes for the magnet are located at the top of the drying rack.. This laundry rack is on a made to order basis. There are three different widths to choose from in the drop down menu, 42, 44, & 46 inches wide. Available rod space for these side by side drying racks are: 42" rack - 15 inches rod space, 44" rack - 16 inches rod space, 46" rack - 17 inches rod space.
