There are quite a few items out in the marketplace related to the Cheatham Electric Switching Device Co of Louisville Kentucky, this is not one of them. Paperweights & letter openers abound but haven't seen an ashtray. I left it as found but polished up this would be a great addition to railroad collections or to Tobacciana or anyone with a fondness for Louisville. No maker mark, possible it was made inhouse.
