"Spirit Goddess" She is a mixed media sculpture using clay as the main media then adding any of the following: wire, beads, yarn & feathers. The stamps & texture are applied when the clay is wet & pliable. After drying completely she is fired in an electric kiln, then she is hand painted using underglaze. Fired again to about 1800 degrees, then embellishments are added. This Fertility Goddess has symbolism on her bodice that depicts strong women with fertility & strength. She measures 9" tall X 2 1/2" wide. Her dress consists of turquoise blue, rusty red, yellow & green & has a wire wrapped around her waist. She has a black curly hair & a blue bird on top of her head.
