This is a new design from a style that has proven to be popular with my customers. The simple inlay on the lid gives it a distinctive, classy look. The box opens smoothly & easily on a hidden hinge. The bottom of the box is lined with black velveteen. If you are looking for a place to store your small valuables, look no further! Materials used in constructing this box are gorgeous bird's-eye maple & mahogany. The finish is precatalyzed lacquer, commercial grade, like that which is used on fine furniture. I apply two coats of lacquer, hand-sanding between each coat. This finish provides a very durable finish which will last for years & years.
