Historically accurate woolen women's frontlaced kirtle for reenactors in the medieval style 14th - 15th century. Made to order. Kirtle is the main garment of a medieval woman's wardrobe. The item features: - wide low neckline - lacing down the front - the sleeve is short - fitted upper part - the volume of the skirt is achieved with wedges & reliefs - the length reaches the floor We offer two types of sewing the kirtle: 1. 50/50 (industrial / manual) i.e. invisible stitches are machine sewn & all visible stitches are hand-sewn. 2. Completely manual i.e. both invisible & visible stiches are hand-sewn. Materials used: - fabric top - 100% wool - threads - 100% linen Item care: 1. Turn wool clothes inside-out. 2. Hand washing is recommended. in case the washing machine is used, wash on the delicate cycle (or wool cycle or hand wash cycle, if your washer features these settings). Use cold water & a mild liquid detergent meant for wool. Add an extra rinse to the wash cycle. 3. To avoid shrinking, don't put wool clothing in the dryer.
