Easily start a fire, no matches required! I have made this fire starter from Bethlehem Olivewood that includes a Certificate of Authenticity that it is from Jerusalem. This is a beautiful wood & I have added a couple burned in lines for more character. Not only does it look great, but it is an essential tool when starting a fire. This would make a great gift for anyone that enjoys the outdoors. The overall length is approximately 5". The 3/8" diameter Ferro rod will last for over 50,000 strikes. The wood has been finished with several coats of lacquer & the lanyard holding the striker is rawhide.
