This set of 8 Boston Herald American newspaper glasses cover political news from 1975. Most notably, there is an article on Boston Mayor, Kevin White winning his 3rd term. He was 1st elected in 1967 & served for 4 terms. There is also an article on Miss Sullivan leading the field for School Board. The printed articles on these glasses aren't readers but the headlines stand out. On the back, there is a Minute Man soldier which is a citizen soldier that is found on the Massachusetts quarter. These fun glasses are particularly fitting for Boston politics buffs & proud Bostonians. They would also make an excellent house warming gift for someone moving to Massachusetts. Measurements - 5 1/2" in height x 2 5/8" in diameter (measured at the top). The foot is 2 1/4" in diameter. Holds 12 ounces of liquid. Condition - Overall, excellent condition with no wearing of the graphics. One of the glasses has a faint, yellow stain on the corner of the newspaper graphics. Please see last picture.
