Border collie puppy & sheep peace on earth Christmas Ornament. A border collie & sheep ornament made from a print of one of my original watercolor paintings. The little smiling puppy is gazing into the eyes of the sheep with a warm sense of love, admiration & friendship. This would be the perfect gift for a border collie, sheep or farm owner or even anyone who just loves dogs & animals. I used to make each ornament with my Dad, he was the woodworker & I've always been the artist. Now that he has passed, each ornament is hand made by me. I use a small print of my art cut out & adhered to wood. The wood is from our wood shop. It could be very old maple or cedar, or aged wood from our land. The wood has been cut with a band saw & then planed, cut to shape, stained & then sprayed with a few coats of high gloss finish on the front & back. Each piece of wood is unique & different, & every ornament is tied with a red ribbon to hang on the tree. This piece measures 2 3/4"wide x approx. 4 1/2"high Each piece is hand-made, hand cut so no two pieces are exactly alike but all are made with care.
