This here is a wonderful Vintage Steiff Pewter Tray featuring a faux wood bed. Steiff, though prominent is silver production, ventured more into pewter production in the 1960s & 70s. This tray certainly looks to be a 70s product. The faux wood reminds me of the wood panel walling that was popular at the time. Definitely a retro look. Measuring appr 8" across, with the pewter rim measuring measuring appr 3/4", this tray is in good condition showing some minor wear from age & likely use. There is some minor surface wear to the pewter with some light surface scratching in spots. There are some spots of very light scratching to the faux wood that I wasn't really able to show clearly in the photos. Steiff Pewter P 72 is marked on the underside rim, as can be seen in photos. Overall, a very nice tray that would make an excellent little bar or serving tray & would make a great addition to any vintage pewter or barware collection.
