ABOUT HAICO NITZSCHE was born in germany, 1962-65 he did an apprenticeship as a ceramist with Helmut Schäffenacker in Ulm/Germany & there after he made his mster in Landshut/Germany. He came to Søholm in 1974 as artistic director. Before coming to Bornholm in 1974 he had worked for five years in the Swedish porcelain factory Gustavsberg.
