Janis Berard FULL BODY Porcelain 24in Doll Limited edition number 38 of 1000. Janis Berard full body KAIS porcelain doll. She stands 24" tall & is number 38 out of a limited edition of only 1000 pieces worldwide. Her height to the top of her bonnet is 30" She is part of the American Artists Collection of World Gallery Dolls & Collectibles from the middle 90's . All of the dolls in this collection were created & sculpted by very talented & well known doll artists. KAIS porcelain is the finest in the world & incredibly smooth. She is wearing a beautiful antique blue & cream colored satin taffeta dress with a cream lace, ribbons, roses & pearls. There are double rows of lace trim on the sleeves. Her slip is a soft cream satin with lace trim & the edge of the dress has a copper colored ruffle. She is wearing a removable skirt with a long train, measuring 34" from waist. She has the prettiest pierced earrings of pearl stones. Her blue eyes are 100% glass bordered by real eye lashes. Her wig was styled by hand & is beautiful red mohair with tiny mauve ribbons in the front of the wig. Her boots are made of real cream colored leather with tiny pearl studs. Her bonnet is the same taffeta satin & lace as the dress & ties under her chin with a blue satin ribbon. She is holding a matching satin Purse with pearl handle She was displayed but is in very good condition & I see no signs of wear.
