Antique French Wine Bottle Corker, French Winery What an amazing find this antique French wine bottle corker made by. This is a hand operated corker made of cast iron, it is fully functional. The foot lever raises the bottle into the brass cork guide & the top lever arm raises the plunger to allow a cork to be set in the brass cork guide, lower the handle to insert the cork. The green label at base is most likely the sellers brand & name, Paul Gast. Marked, (C P) meaning Commission Paritaire (Joint Commission). The Corker has been painted black at some point, the original color was green. Will make an amazing display for your wine room or bar. Circa, 1900 Marked, Paul Gast, C P Measures, 27" tall with handle lowered & weighs approximately 23 pounds. Condition, used & shows wear, painted black at some point, wood handle is in poor condition. Sold AS IS. Please see all pictures as they are part of the description.
